About Me
Hey there! I'm Brooke, a photographer based in Fort Worth, Texas. I love to photograph different things, but my favorite subjects are definitely people! It's my joy to document moments for people in their current season, celebrating all the experiences that make life full.
Background
I have a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences from Texas A&M University. I've loved taking photos for as long as I can remember, but a pivotal moment in my career came in the summer of 2019. After working at a non-profit camp for a few seasons, I had the opportunity to be their photography intern. It was a challenging season of growth, but it gave me a glimpse of what it feels like to capture joy and then see the images bring joy to others.
After getting married to the most amazing man and moving up to Fort Worth, I felt like there was an invitation from the Lord to officially pursue photography as my career. It's been challenging, fun, a little scary, and ultimately so rewarding!
My Approach
My heart is that you feel comfortable and authentically you during a photo session. After the session, I hope you feel like you had fun, even if photos aren't normally your thing! I approach each session with poses and moving prompts, while also remaining open to wherever the session takes us, and capturing some candid photos during the in-betweens. I like to work with natural light and focus on capturing the fullness of the moment, from all the emotions to the tiniest details, showcased through a true-to-color editing style.
